    3. Wow, this is a GREAT list .... wish our stores carried such a variety. Also wish that some of these items actually tasted good. We tried the Bisquick and it was just an eeeeewwww! What is your experience with some of the larger companies who are venturing into the GF arena and why don't they do a better job of making the product actually work? Or maybe better said ... how do we take their product and make it edible? In the case of Bisquick, it is almost like they left something out.

    4. Thanks Kthrow! I completely agree that some of the products the big brand companies are trying to make gluten-free just don't taste good at all. But I do think sometimes it's about using the product right. For bisquick, I agree there can be times it's used for the wrong recipe. But with some, like this Gluten Free French Apple Pie, it taste amazing! I guess it's just all about finding the right recipes. Here's the Pie Recipe btw and thanks for the comment! http://glutenaway.blogspot.com/2012/11/gluten-free-french-apple-pie.html

    9. All, I was just recently diagnosed as having a gluten allergy (I'm 45). A friend of mine told me about Utz chips - when I used a web search engine, it came to a celiac web site that said otherwise.

    12. Why would potato chips contain gluten in the first place? Gluten is a product of wheat and grain... not potato... so....... yea
