Easiest Gluten Free Peach Cobbler Recipe Ever!

You really are going to be amazed at how easy this recipe is and how little ingredients it needs. I was actually surprised at first that it was even gluten-free just from taste. So whenever I have something that is that good, I have to share it with you. It is both gluten ad dairy free which is of course something I do with all of my recipes. I thought this was extremely good by itself! But if there's anything that I would of added to make it better, it would of had to of been some dairy free vanilla ice cream. This is by far the best tasting recipe I've ever had for how simple and inexpensive it is. I guarantee if you try it, you won't even know it's gluten-free. Enjoy and feel free to switch the peaches out with any other amount of your favorite fruit! It'll probably taste just as good.

Ingredients:
  • 5 large peaches - peeled, pitted and thinly sliced
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour (I use gluten-free mama's coconut flour blend)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 cup cold butter (I used Earth Balance)
  • I really recommend this with some vanilla ice cream as well!

Directions:
  1. Heat oven to 375 F and grease 9" square pan.
  2. Place peaches in bottom of baking dish.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and salt in separate bowl.
  4. Add cold butter to the flour mixture and mix with a pastry blender or fork until mixture resembles crumbs.
  5. Pour crumb mixture over peaches.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes until top is bubbly and crisp!

I hope you like this recipe and it might even taste good with some other type of fruit too! If you try it with another fruit, let me know how it turns out and tastes! I just chose peaches cause they were one of my favorites and I know you'll enjoy it too.

  6. Oops, I didn't mean to vote 2.5 stars! In fact, I didn't mean to vote at all as I haven't made it yet. I can't wait to make it, it looks so easy to make. Thank you for the easy recipe. I love coconut flour!

  7. Could I use coconut oil instead of butter?

  8. Most likely not since the butter has to be cold to make the crumbs.

  9. I use coconut oil instead of butter. Just make sure it is still solid and not melted. I also use honey instead of sugar and it works wonderfully. Awesome recipe!

  10. Is that the coconut flour blend or just coconut flour?

  11. I've used both the blend and regular coconut flour in this recipe and it's turned out great each time!

  13. Thanks for posting this. Didn't have fresh peaches - so used 2 cans (drained and diced) peaches and only 1/2 cup of sugar. Turned out delicious.

  15. I made an error in voting! I thought it was delicious and would have given it 5 stars, NOT 1 1/2! I was clicking on the stars thinking that I could read the other reviews. Now I don't know how to fix it. Please forgive me. 5 STARS!!

  16. This is great! I used an all purpose GF flour, stevia and honey instead of sugar, and as I forked my butter in, kept it moist with a little coconut oil too. I could eat the topping all by itself. Way to go.

  19. The Nov 26 recipe cobbler turned out fantastic, took it to a Thanksgiving campout, needed no refrigeration, it was a hit! Thanks = )

  20. Ugh . . . what happened to mine? The topping looks like a dark sandy beach on top of the peaches. I can literally pinch it and it falls through my fingers like dirt. I followed the recipe exactly and was so excited by the other favorable reviews. Doing an online search after the fact, I notice other non-GF recipes use a bit of water, up to as much as 5 Tbsp, and also chill their dough for a time in the fridge (30 min - 2 hours). I am so disappointed. Maybe others on here are accustomed to making cobbler and know how the topping should look when putting it on the peaches . . . I got the cold-butter-crumbly-meal-like consistency . . . This was my first attempt at a cobbler, and I was planning to serve it to my GF family but the topping is like eating mouthfuls of sand. It is granular and not pleasant. It definitely does not look like the image posted with the recipe. Any guess as to what went wrong here?

  22. My family LOVED it!! I just made it this evening, and it's almost gone. My husband who wrinkles his nose at vegan and gluten free anything has already eaten 1/2 of it. I used cold coconut oil instead of butter. Thanks for sharing this recipe...soooo tasty and simple! :)

  25. Hands down the worst dessert I have ever made. Yes I followed the recipe. Yes the ingredients were fresh. Yes my oven has been calibrated for accurate temperature. This tasted like heavily sweetened, moist flour with dry peaches.

  28. I made this with frozen blueberries and was hesitant to add this much sugar but am glad I did. It was not too sweet, just right. I used cold butter and followed recipe and thought the topping got really hard. Sugar? We enjoyed this with vanilla ice cream. The next day, the leftovers were so hard I had to microwave it to get it out of glass pan. I enjoyed it for breakfast. Pretty good for gf but I probably wouldn't make it again b/c of all the sugar.

  29. I make this recipe but differently: 1.Preheat oven to 350.
    2. Place butter into a pyrex baking dish (or similar). Place into oven while it preheats, and take out once melted.
    3. In the meantime, Whisk together the flour, sugar and milk til mostly smooth. Pour over the butter in the baking dish.
    4. Spoon peaches & juice over the batter. Do not stir.
    5. Bake at 350, until golden brown and crust is done (about 50 - 60 mins., depending on your oven).

  30. This recipe is the bomb! I am 22 weeks pregnant and since being pregnant I have had to eat gluten-free. It's really new for me so when I found your blog, I was so excited to see so many easy recipes. My husband is not a fan of "gluten free" foods but he didn't even know the cobbler was GF!!!
