ReplyDeleteThank you for the opportunity, I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease on February 18, 2014. I have been having problems for over 10 years or more and didn't realize what was wrong with me. I now feel like a human being with no more upset stomach or other gross things. Keep up the good work.

ReplyDeletealmost 10 years ago a friend recommend I go gluten- free. I couldn't believe how quickly I felt better, Enjoy your updates
ReplyDeleteI am eager to read your blog and learn more about your situation. My 3 year old has an immune disorder, GI problems and severe food & environmental allergies. He is allergic to gluten, dairy, soy, almond and coconut oils and yhat about all antibiotics... And those are the ones we are sure of. He doesn't eat much... He doesn't like tastes or textures and associate a lot of foods with pain. I am eager to find foods he can eat and will be excited to eat! I hope you can give me some insight and maybe help me see a little of what my son's future journey may be. I realize your situation may be quite different but any little bit of advice will help me, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteDear Taylor, SOOOOO glad to see you up and running again...prayed for you and left a message on your site when you went into the hospital...you are an absolutely AMAZING young man !!!...tell your mom she's done a WONDERFUL job <3
ReplyDeleteI was diagnosed with Celiac's 2.5 years ago. I have had dairy allergies my whole life. I have other food allergies mainly in the night shade family. Bad for me since I LOVE sweet bell peppers, salsa, and spaghetti sauce...Oh Well. Glad to see you doing this, and making people aware of these issues. My oldest son is 19, he has food allergies also, he doesn't always stay on his diet. I know being young and missing out on some of the foods is difficult, especially when the alternative foods dont taste quite the same :) Finding a happy medium isnt always easy, but trying new products, and finding what tastes good helps. Thanks for doing the Gluten Free Giveaway!
ReplyDeleteJust started following, thanks for all the groundwork you are doing for us gluten free followers!
ReplyDeleteMy 10 year old grandson has Non-Williams disease and because of all the heart surgeries and other renal artery surgery has developed celiac disease. I'm so pleased to find a site like this one, to encourage and also to help with interesting recipes and products he can enjoy. I just found out this month that my 5 yr old grandson also has celiac disease.SO this site is invaluable to our family.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear that your grandson has had to deal with so much. Hopefully I can provide some things to make the gluten-free part easier because it sounds like he deals with a lot of problems, as do I. Good luck to you and your family! I hope he starts to get well soon!
