Trick or Treat is right around the corner which means going out with food allergies can always make this a tough situation. You don't want your kids to not enjoy the fun experiences of dressing up, walking around to each house, grabbing as much candy as one can get. But of course, you also don't want your child to get terribly sick from the many food allergies that they may have to avoid. Us food allergy bloggers have lots of experiences in being a parent in these situations (myself excluded). Keep your children safe this Halloween but still let them have fun with these Tips on How to Trick or Treat with Food Allergies!
This past weekend, 3/14/15, I got the opportunity to speak at the GFFA Fest in Tampa Florida. This was my first time public speaking in front of a large group of people but I was super excited to share my advice as a teenager on living gluten-free. Not only was I able to speak to a group of people 2 days in a row, but I also got to manage my own GlutenAway booth again while I was there! I had a great time being able to see old friends, meet new ones, and get a whole new experience in the public speaking area. Oh, and I can't forget the new gluten-free products I found, too. Check out my full wrap of of the GFFA Fest, below!
This weekend, I'll be speaking at the Tampa Bay Gluten & Allergen Free Food Fest for the first time in over a year. I'm super excited to share a bunch of info to help everyone that will be attending as well as to be presenting with the other great bloggers! I'll be speaking on "Dealing With Friends, Family Members, Traveling, and Being Social Gluten-Free." Since this will be my first time publicly speaking in a while, I'm a little nervous, but definitely excited to be getting back to it again. I'll also be getting the chance to see Jules Shepard, Pam Jordan, and Cindy Gordon for the first time too! I look forward to sharing any new products I find and meeting some of you there if you'll be attending! -Taylor
This Sunday, February 22nd, I'll be managing a booth at Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Event in Boca Raton. I'll be giving out lots of samples of 2 recipes I'm making for the expo as well as selling recipe bundles for people to buy! There will be 2 companies I will be representing while I'm there but my main focus will be sharing with you the awesome gluten-free recipes I'm bringing. Check out a little bit more about where I'll be and what recipes you'll be able to try for yourself!

This weekend I'll be stopping by the Food Allergy and Celiac Convention in Orlando, Florida. I actually just found out that this expo was going on and decided that it would be a good opportunity to meet some of you and connect with some more companies as well! With my own expo coming up in 2 weeks, I'm very busy with preparation and don't have much time to spare. None the less, I plan on attending this convention as well as sharing some of the awesome new gluten-free products I come across. If you'll be there, comment below and let me know! I look forward to checking out all the gluten-free companies and giving my reviews soon! -Taylor

If you haven't checked out the First Ever Online Gluten-Free Expo yet, you need too! It's been a huge success so far and has gotten great responses from many people around the U.S. Since this was the first online gluten-free event, we wanted to make sure we did everything right the first time to make both the attendees and companies happy. I've been very happy to see that almost everyone has loved it so far with the exception of a few people who haven't been happy with the samples. Either way it's gotten great response and I'd love to share what some people have to say about it, below!

Have you ever seen a gluten-free expo coming up but realized you're too far away to attend? I always felt this way living in Florida since so many expos are no where near by year after year. I always wished there was a way to go to a gluten-free expo no matter where you lived. Free of travel, free of cost, free of stress. That's why we decided to create the very first online GlutenAway Gluten Free Virtual Expo! Anyone from anywhere in the U.S. can attend from July 1st - July 21st without paying anything or having to leave your home. Learn more about all the awesome benefits to attending this expo, below, and figure out how you can pre-register for many more benefits as well!
This weekend I attended the Gluten-Free Living Conference and fortunately felt much better this time compared to the expo in St. Pete. I got to meet tons of bloggers as well as try many new gluten-free products I have not seen before. If you've been following me then you will see that I've gotten a lot of gluten-free products for me to share with you. In this post I'll be sharing with you all the people I met as well as the gluten-free giveaways I will be hosting soon. I'm giving away everything I got at the expo so look for a lot of stuff for you to have the chance to win!

Last weekend, Saturday March 22nd, I got to take part in the Gluten-Free For Life Expo in Saint Petersburg, Florida! The expo was actually right down the street from me and I got to meet a lot of people! Some people I knew through my blog and others I met for the first time. Either way it was a great turn out working at the gluten-free teens table. I worked at expo for about 10 hours so of course I was exhausted after all that time. Check out more from the expo below and what awesome blogger I finally got to meet!
Speaking at gluten-free support groups or just at events in general is something I want to try and get into. I've really never spoken in front of any group of people for a long amount of time before besides school presentations or back at the Gluten and Allergen Free Wellness Event in May. So getting into public speaking at age 16 would be something very new for me since I've never really done much stuff like this before. I know I'd be nervous since of course speaking in front of people isn't exactly something that keeps you calm. But speaking is something I want to do in general as I grow up so I know starting now is better than starting later!
On May 5th, I was in Atlanta, Georgia for the Gluten & Allergen Free Wellness Event! I got to take on a lot of new things including public speaking and getting the feel for what I'm getting into. But I also got to meet a lot of great bloggers and try some awesome new products as well from a lot of different companies and bakeries! I got to experience this expo as my 2nd one ever and I definitely went home with enough food to last at least a month this time..
This weekend I got to help out at the Gluten Free For Life Expo in St. Petersburg, Florida. I've never really attended any expo before let alone a gluten-free one, so I honestly didn't know what to expect. There were so many things I looked forward to and so many products and booths I got to see. Even though there are many things from the expo itself I got to experience, the one thing I enjoyed the most was meeting all the people and being able to connect with others in a way I haven't been able to before.
