As someone with Celiac Disease, I have found that one of the toughest things for me to do is maintain a healthy digestive system.  It seems that no matter how hard I try I somehow get “glutened” at one time or another and then spend weeks recovering.  Most of you know that this past year we started hosting Online Gluten Free Expos which have been so much fun to develop and build.  One of the best things about the online expos have been all the great products we have learned about while researching companies to fill our booth spaces.  Gluten Intolerance Essentials ended up being one of those great finds that I just had to write about and share on my blog outside of the expos because of how much it has helped me and my family.

As a teenager, I really don't use many cookbooks to make the foods I'm craving. Usually I just go online and search for what I need. But I'm always open to trying new recipes, especially if they're easy! I got the opportunity to receive this awesome cookbook from Chandice Probst of Gluten-Free Frenzy called, Gluten Free on a Budget. Not only was I surprised to find so many recipes I'd enjoy, but also to learn that these recipes are cheap and affordable too. I'm extremely happy to share my favorite things about this amazing cookbook, as a teenager, as well as give away a free copy too!

As a teenager, I usually don't spend much time cooking. Don't get me wrong, cooking and baking is one of my favorite things to do when I have the time for it. But the thing is I usually don't have time for it at all! A majority of my recipes I post are so quick and easy that even a teen can do it. So when it comes to making recipes from a gluten-free cookbook, I generally tend to stay away. That was until I received this Delight Gluten Free Cookbook from Delight Magazine! I was surprised to see that a lot of the recipes didn't need many ingredients and were actually pretty simple to make! I decided to make the recipe that's right on the cover because who wouldn't after seeing that? I definitely was not disappointed at all and I believe a lot of the recipes in here are ones you have to try for yourself too. Check out my review below to see what I made and make sure to enter my giveaway as well for a chance to get a copy of your own!
I've reviewed Nutra Summa in the past and tried their many of their supplements for the first time. As a teenager I usually wouldn't be taking supplements. Most teenagers are probably fine without them and have tons of energy! But unlike most teenagers I have celiac disease, POTS, and a rare adrenal disorder that makes feeling normal a lot harder. I still have stomach issues, energy issues, and many others I could get help with. I know most of you have some of these problems too which is why i'm glad to share all of these gluten-free supplements to help! Enter my awesome giveaway and you could win some supplements for you or your kid!

On my blog I like to share products I would only use myself. Although I'm not a kid anymore, I know a lot of you are parents of kids that have some type of food allergy. It can be pretty hard for kids to get the nutrition they need if they are cutting out lots of food groups, especially gluten and grains! That's why I wanted to share with you a great product that is an awesome way for your kids to get the nutrition they need. KidzShake is a product that I recently found that has 4 flavors plus it's free of most allergens. I've tried it and loved it and I'm sure your kids will love them too. Check out my review as a teenager as well as this giveaway where 3 of you will win as well!

It's not often where you will find me in the kitchen making gluten-free cookies or coming up with recipes. Even though I need to incorporate recipes in my blog, I've found myself doing it less and less. Part of the reason is because I've decided to eat almost all natural now. I don't make many desserts or sweets as much which pretty much means I have less desserts to share with you! That's why I was super excited to get this cookbook and share all these recipes for you to win. I'll share with you my top 5 favorite recipes from this cookbook as well as a giveaway for how you can win 1! Good luck!

There are many gluten-free books out there, but not many dedicated to helping you save money on the gluten-free diet. My friend, Jennifer Fugo of glutenfreeschool.com, recently came out with a guide to help with just that. The Savvy Gluten-Free Shopper is the perfect book for those of you that are just starting out gluten-free. But that doesn't mean it isn't great for and experienced gluten-free eater as well. In this review, I share with you the amazing benefits to Jennifer's book as well as share what I like about it as a gluten-free teenager. Make sure to check out Jennifer's book through this link but before you do, there is so much more for me to share with you. I will also be giving away 3 digital copies of the book below so good luck!
Out of all the gluten-free products I use, this might be a little more of a surprise to hear compared to the other typical things a teenager would use. Natural handmade body soaps is something I really enjoy buying and is something I have been buying for a while! I don't know why but I just prefer it much more compared to the other body washes. Main brand soaps have tons of chemicals and ingredients I can't even pronounce. I much rather use a soap that is gluten-free, natural, and hand made from someone that's gluten-free herself! I happily got to try 4 different bars of natural handmade soaps from Bluebonnet Soaps N' Such and am happy to review it and say you should try them as well. They are free of many different allergies but are most importantly natural and gluten-free!
I deal with a lot of health struggles every day as do most of you. Low energy, fatigue, and constant brain fog is something I deal with constantly and have dealt with for a while because of my adrenal disorder. I know it's not normal and I definitely know I shouldn't feel extremely tired each day because I'm only 16 years old! There's many things I've tried and many things I still do try every day. So when I got brought these Nutra Summa Supplements to me, I was glad to give it a shot since I'll really try anything now to get myself feeling somewhat better each day. After trying these supplements for a couple days I noticed an immediate improvement in my energy, concentration, and endurance throughout workouts! I truly am amazed by these products and I'm happy to share some things about it with you that could possibly get you feeling better as well like it did with me.
This week I'll be happily giving away a free copy of Paleo Cooking from Elana's Pantry! I was very excited to receive this cookbook since I have actually made some of her recipes before from her website, elanaspantry.com and of course always love to cook. You may know that I try to eat as natural as possible on the gluten-free diet and am actually on something called the 80/20 diet right now. Many of the foods I eat are natural and have to be low sugar because of my adrenal disorder as well. This book is full of tons of great Paleo gluten-free recipes that really blew me away at how simple they were. Hope you enter my giveaway to receive a free copy and good luck!
Getting stomach pains, an upset stomach, or just nausea is something I think a lot of people with Celiac Disease or are gluten intolerant often deal with. I cannot get through my day without getting an upset stomach at least one time for whatever reason. I know there are probably tons of drugs or medicines you can try that will possibly relieve the pain over time. But have you thought about trying a natural supplement instead? You may know that ginger is a natural remedy for upset stomachs. So when I found these Tummy Drops that were gluten-free, natural, and relieved my upset stomach within a couple minutes without any side affects...I was hooked!
Everyone that gets diagnosed with Celiac Disease or suddenly goes gluten-free always has to change there diet and lifestyle as soon as possible. But one thing that you may not be able to change if your living with someone else is their diet too. There's probably been times where you would get glutenous foods and gluten-free foods mixed up without really knowing it. You could always got the sharpie or pen route and just write "gluten-free" on all you food, but who wants to really do that? These awesome Gluten-free Labels are an easy way to label your food in a way where you can easily know which food is which and never have to worry about accidentally getting glutened again!
Back in March I got the awesome opportunity to receive Taste Guru's Gluten-free Box of the Month! To me this was something I was very excited to get because hey, who doesn't like coming home to a box of gluten-free goodies on your door step. There are so many things that I got to find inside and got to try that I really have never tried before! Sadly I am dairy free as well so I could not try some of the foods that looks best, but who says that stops me from reviewing the package as a whole. In this review I'll give my thoughts on the website, products, and awesome package I received from Taste Guru! I'll also let you know how you can get yours too.

Having trouble getting all the required nutrients you need every day? This may or may not be something you have already thought about but if you haven't thought about it yet, I really recommend you do. Having Celiac Disease can cause the body to be unable to absorb the nutrients we need. Even if you don't have Celiac Disease, being on a gluten-free diet takes out a substantial amount of nutrients from your day. When I found this shake I discovered it is an easy way for me to get the vitamins and nutrients I need each day!
Gluten-free, natural, beauty products are something that most women with a gluten allergy can struggle to find. Although most people don't think about skin products containing gluten in the first place some actually can. It's always better to be safe and get natural, gluten-free skin products anyways. I was told by Lisa Sammons about a brand called Perfectly Posh Pampering Products which is a brand that sells all natural, gluten-free beauty products for mostly woman, but some for guys too. Here is a list to all their products and here is the Perfectly Posh Home Page!
